The fallout continues over Vanity Fair’s May issue, featuring shots of teen role model and millionaire good girl Miley Cyrus seemingly topless, with only a sheet covering her barely postpubescent chest.

â¨Ms. Cyrus, unhappy with the photos or under some sort of threat via her employer Disney, released an “official statement” of dismay: “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic,’ and now seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed,” she said. “I never intended for any of this to happen, and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

â¨Disney backs Miley’s sudden epiphany, telling E! News, “A situation was created to manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”
Uh, since when is Disney opposed to creating situations to deliberately manipulate 15-year-old girls in order to seize market share?

Vanity Fair has made Miley look something like a liar by releasing her interview from the magazine, a photo gallery of the shoot and full videoclick and judge for yourself.
