Bow Wow to Sink His Teeth into Acting
Shad "Bow Wow" Moss is tired of kidding around with this music stuff.
The rapper, whose debut album dropped when he was 13, is 21 now, and he recently announced he's setting aside the rap thing in order to focus on acting, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
"After 16 years in the music industry and six successful albums, I've decided to shift my energy to something else I'm passionate about, acting," he says.
The rap prodigy has already signed on for the next season of Entourage, portraying a stand-up comic client of E.
Moss has previously appeared in movies such as Johnson Family Vacation, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Roll Bounce and Like Mike. His decision to fully devote himself to the craft was inspired by fellow rapper-turned actor Will Smith, he says.
Good luck, dog! And try not to accidentally step on Kevin Connolly during your new gig. You might not deserve the "little" appellation anymore, but that guy's pretty easy to miss.
