Ellen and Portia: Rome If They Want To

Affianced lesbians Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi had a girls' night out in Rome yesterday, enjoying a cozy alfresco meal before checking out the Trevi Fountain and picking up some gelato.

In town on a pre-honeymoon jaunt, the two were accompanied by a photographer as they made their way through town.

Hmmm, a photographer? Sounds like the pair—who have reportedly set a date for a wedding in Palm Springs, California, later this year—are gearing up to become a same-sex version of self-promotion junkies Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Hopefully, without the gunplay and messiah complex.
