Whoa; there’s something shady about Beyoncé Knowles’ new print ad for L’Oreal Paris’ Feria hair color.

Jay-Z’s girl looks like she’s seen a ghost—or perhaps been injected with a bit of Gwyneth Paltrow’s DNA.

The Internet’s been buzzing with rumors that L’Oreal gave Knowles the reverse O.J. treatment. But according to E! Online, the cosmetics big-wigs deny messing with Beyoncé’s complexion.

“Beyoncé Knowles has been a spokesperson for the L’Oréal Paris brand since 2001,” says a company spokesman. “It is categorically untrue that L’Oréal Paris altered Ms. Knowles’ features or skin-tone in the campaign for Feria’s hair color.”

Hmm; that seems pretty questionable, L’Oreal, but thanks for enlightening us. You seem to be pretty good at that sort of thing.
