Matthew McConaughey's a Grounded Father
Rest assured, Matthew McConaughey's recent induction into fatherhood hasn't dampened his famously flighty worldview.
The Associated Press reports that the new dad saved the placenta from his son Levi—who's really been getting around lately—and plans to bury it in an orchard in hopes, of, like, making the world a more beautiful place.
"It's going to be in the orchards and it's going to bear some wonderful fruit," McConaughey told CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
"When I was in Australia, they had a placenta tree that was on the river ... and all the placentas of all that tribe, all that clan, whatever aboriginal tribe that was, all the placentas went under that one tree and it was this huge behemoth of just health and strength," McConaughey rambled continued.
With Levi's proven profitability, his placenta tree will probably grow $100 bills instead of leaves.
