Lights Out for Celebrity Improver Paul Starr
The rich and famous will find it a little more difficult to put on a pretty face from here on in.
Makeup artist Paul Starr, who gussied up the mugs of Hollywood talents such as Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Alba, was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment on Tuesday. Starr, who hadn't been heard from for several days, was discovered after his door was broken down.
Starr—who was thought to be 48—was treasured by his clients for his make-up expertise.
"I have never felt more like the best version of myself than when Paul made me up," Garner once raved.
The face artist was also known for his easy rapport with clients while he prettified them.
"During the time we have spent in the makeup chair, we talked about everything; global issues, babies, human rights," Jolie has said.
The causes of Starr's death are under investigation.
