Shia LaBeouf will not be charged with driving under the influence in relation to his car accident on July 27. LA County authorities found that there was insufficient evident to charge him. However, he will reportedly have to surrender his driver's license because he refused to submit to a blood alcohol test, according to TMZ.
Renee Zellweger has revealed that she endured a breast cancer scare in 1996 in an interview with Self magazine as reported by Us. The Appaloosa actress says that she found two small lumps during a self exam. "I thought, 'Oh, I know what you do now. You find out what that is. So I went and found out," Zellweger says. The lumps turned out to be benign tumors.
TMZ reports that Heroes star Hayden Panettierre's father Alan will be charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from an August incident in which he reportedly slapped his wife Lesley at their West Hollywood home. Panettierre is due in court next month, and he faces up to one year in jail.
MSNBC is reporting that People magazine paid Clay Aiken $500,000 for his "gay dad" interview. This is a much smaller sum than celebrities have received in the past for pictures of their newborn babies and accompanying interviews. “Gone are the days when any celebrity gets millions of dollars for their photos,” says a magazine editor.
People reports that Iron Man actor Terence Howard's mother has died. "Terrence Howard's mother, Anita Williams, has sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer," his rep said in a statement. "Terrence will take some time to privately grieve with his family. He appreciates everyone's support during this difficult time."
