Bruce Springsteen to Rock the Super Bowl

The New York Daily News reports that Super Bowl organizers have scored a huge coup when it comes to the entertainment this year.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been announced as the headlining act during the halftime show. This is in keeping with the recent strategy to have more standard and “family friendly” acts during half-time.

The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers have been the more straight-up rock acts who have kept their shirts on in recent years.

Alas, vomit recipient Janet Jackson and Italian stallion Justin Timberlake’s “wardrobe malfunction” during the Superbowl in 2004 ruined it for all who want to see nudity.
