Morning Buzz: Lohan Wants Deposition Sealed
E! reports that Lindsay Lohan wants an upcoming videotaped deposition she’s giving shielded from the public. Lohan’s companion Samantha Ronson is suing her former lawyer Martin Garbus as a result of her failed defamation lawsuit against blogger Perez Hilton. Ronson brought a suit against Hilton for claiming that cocaine found in Lohan’s May 2007 car crash belonged to her. Garbus has called Lohan as a witness in the case, and court documents reflect Lohan’s wish that only key people will be able to view her videotaped testimony. “If made public, the deposition of Ms. Lohan will cause her unwarranted annoyance, embarrassment, oppression, undue burden, and expense,” Lohan’s lawyer wrote in court documents requesting a protective order.
