People reports that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony renewed their wedding vows in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas on Sunday morning. The couple reportedly held the ceremony at Caesars Palace's Forum Temple Penthouse at 3:15 AM after a night out at the casino's Pure nightclub. Us Weekly reports that the ceremony was witnessed by Anthony's friend, New York Mets player Carlos Beltran and Beltran's wife Jessica.
TMZ reports that an agitated man threatened to stab Spice Girl Mel B's husband Stephen Belafonte as the couple and their baby exited London's Heathrow Airport on Sunday afternoon. Belafonte was approached by a man who began speaking to him and then threatened to stab him. The same man also reported physically attacked a photographer who urged him to leave the couple alone. The assailant was arrested by London police.
Box Office Mojo reports that Beverly Hills Chihuahua took the top spot at this weekend's box office with $17 million. The horror film Quarantine and director Ridley Scott's Body of Lies with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe took the 2nd and 3rd spots respectively.
New England Patriots injured quarterback Tom Brady has lowered the asking price on the apartment that he's selling in NYC's Time Warner Center. The 65th floor property was on the market for $18.29 million, and it has now been reduced to $17.75 million. Brady originally listed the proper for $16.5 million in February of 2007, TMZ reports.
Page Six reports that Sandra Bernhard, recently ousted from a Boston women's shelter benefit due to a gang rape joke she made about vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is still courting controversy. She recently appeared at a benefit in NYC's Chelsea neighborhood and criticized her former best friend Madonna. "I saw her at the gym, and I thought it was [71-year-old] Dyan Cannon - all straggly and sh*t," Bernhard joked.
