Jessica Simpson Upstaged By Tony Romo
Romo was reportedly more interesting to fans at the State Fair of Texas than Simpson. Some fans were said to have spent her entire performance with their backs to the stage, focusing on Romo who was in the sound booth.
Simpson didn’t seem to mind as she just kept going on—and on and on—about her dude.
“This is a song I wrote about a certain someone who throws that football really good,” she gushed while introducing “My Sunday.”
Simpson referred to Romo (who reportedly sang along to her ditties and even clapped wildly when she was able to hit high notes) as “the calm of the storm in my life,” and said, “Whatever I go through, I know I can depend on him to relax and bring me faith again.”
