David Duchovny: ‘The Balls Were Not In Her Court’

Californication actor/newly-christened sexual compulsive David Duchovny has filed a defamation suit againt British newspaper The Daily Mail for running a story about his alleged affair with tennis instructor Edit Pakay.

Duchovny, who is currently separated from his wife Tea Leoni, says the Mail’s story claiming he told Pakay he would leave his wife for her was untrue.

“The story falsely alleges that Duchovny sought out Ms. Pakay to be his tennis instructor and that the ‘professional relationship’…quickly turned into a love match,” court documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court read.

This has not been an easy few months for Dave. He went into rehab for sex addiction at the tail end of the summer. It was also reported that he and wife Tea have been separated since he allegedly found sexy text messages from “her new favorite person”, actor Billy Bob Thornton, on her cell phone.

Taking up tennis is supposed to be relaxing.
