Courteney Cox Sinks Her Claws Into 'Cougar Town'
"Forty-year-old women on TV are so beautiful and perfect and wrinkle-free," says creator Bill Lawrence (who also created Scrubs). "People don't do the reality of it, and there is a real comedy area about a woman who is talking about Botox, about having sex with the lights on and how her body is changing."
Cox Arquette will play a newly-40-year old dealing with the aging process and a 17-year-old son.
Well, she's done the Botox already for research.
This will be Courtney's first TV outing since Dirt, her drama about a gossip rag, tanked after its second season on FX.
Let's hope this Cougar catches on...
