Morning Frills #95 'We Kerr a Lot' Edition
Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr graces the November issue of Ocean Drive magazine, and aside from looking ridiculously hot, Orlando Bloom's main reason to live discusses the triumphs, joys and struggles that come with being one of the world's best-known lingerie peddlers.
The 25-year-old, Australian-born Kerr, who stands 5' 9" and began modeling when she was 13, unloads about a variety of topics. Read on for excerpts from her interview.
On the importance of listening to one's elders: "I was studying nutrition, and I knew that I wanted to do something that could make a difference in the lives of other people. It was my dad who pointed out the impact I could have through modeling; he said, 'With a face and a name you can make a difference.' That has turned out to be very true."
On strutting down the runway in her undies and a bulky pair of angel's wings: "Yes, it's work, but apart from the nerves and everything else that goes with it, you can't ask for a better example of fashion, fantasy, sexiness and fun."
On appreciating her good fortune: "Sometimes I have to pinch myself, you know?"
