Madonna Goes Grass Roots for Gucci and UNICEF
Having arrived at Berlin's Schoenefeld airport back in August dressed in a bathrobe, Madonna clearly believes she is a woman who can wear whatever she wants.
The 50-year-old divorced mother of three's presence graced the UNICEF benefit dinner last night. Perhaps she'd been told this year's soiree had a Jolly Green Giant motif?
Held at the Plaza in New York City, the event celebrated the launch of Gucci's Tattoo Heart Collection. Handbags from the luxury line are decorated with a "tattoo heart" design and iconic Gucci symbols. Gucci commits 25 percent of all Tattoo Heart sales to the United Nations Children's Fund.
Madonna's sense of charity may have been inspired by soon-to-be-ex husband Guy Ritchie, 40. Guy has reportedly asked for none of his former wife's $500-million fortune in their divorce settlement.
Guy certainly won't be making any claim on this green grass tunic dress, but don't be surprised if Gwen Stefani, 39, calls and requests the return of her makeup kit.
