Say Goodbye to 'Eli Stone' and 'Pushing Daisies'
Pushing Daises will be doing just that, reports EW's Michael Ausiello, as will ABC's Eli Stone.
As noted earlier, the network announced it had put the kabosh on Dirty Sexy Money. And while Ausiello writes that ABC offered no comment, sources confirmed that all three shows have been canceled.
"The ratings-challenged trio will complete production on their 13-episode orders (Daisies already has, while Eli and DSM have an episode or two to go)," says EW. "Of course, completing the episodes and actually airing them are two totally different things."
It seems not even a musical-infused guest stint by Katie Holmes earlier this season on the beleaguered Eli Stone could boost the series' dreary ratings.
Likewise for NBC, the stunt-casting of both Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Aniston recently delivered 30 Rock its lowest ratings this year.
Given that, is there any chance Pamela Anderson's upcoming appearance on NBC sitcom Kath & Kim will cause an increase in viewership?
At least Pushing Daisies star Kristin Chenoweth has the upcoming feature Four Christmases to look forward to.
