Morning Buzz: Jamie Lynn Spears Denies Liposuction While Pregnant
TMZ reports that Jamie Lynn Spears is denying that she had liposuction while she was pregnant with daughter Maddie Briann, and that her family may take legal action against Star magazine for claiming that she did. A source says that the story is "100% not true" and that Spears would "never in her life" have that kind of procedure while pregnant.
NHL player Sean Avery has issued a public apology for a comment he made during a televised interview in which he referred to ex-girlfriend Elisha Cuthbert as "sloppy seconds," reports TMZ . The former Vogue intern, who is currently under suspension, reportedly aimed the comment at fellow NFL player Dion Phaneuf who is currently dating Cuthbert. "I would like to sincerely apologize for my off-color remarks to the press yesterday from Calgary. I should not have made those comments and I recognize that they were inappropriate. It was a bad attempt to build excitement for the game, but I am now acutely aware of how hurtful my actions were. I caused unnecessary embarrassment to my peers as well as people I have been close with in the past," Avery said in a statement.
Us reports that Men in Trees and Ellen DeGeneres ex Anne Heche is pregnant with co-star James Tupper's baby. "They are thrilled," a rep said in a statement. Heche has a six-year-old son, Homer, with ex-husband Coley Laffoon.
People reports that former Baywatch star Gena Lee Nolin and her husband, NHL hockey player Cale Hulse, have had a baby girl. "Stella Monroe Hulse was born Wednesday in Scottsdale, Ariz., and weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long," according to her rep.
Us reports that Oprah Winfrey will tape her talk show in Washington, DC during the week of President Elect Barack Obama's inauguration. Winfrey will reportedly host her show from the Opera House at the Kennedy Center. "That's where I'm going to be," Winfrey said. "See you there... that's the place to be."
