People reports that Madonna and Guy Ritchie have issued a joint statement denying the reported figures in their divorce settlement, which were estimated around $76 million being paid out to Ritchie. That figure reportedly included their country estate in England. A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week. The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement.
