Khloe Kardashian Explains Fur Faux Pas
Khloe Kardashian has taken to her official blog to speak out on Internet attacks launched on the 24-year-old today.
Some outlets have labeled Kardashian a hypocrite for appearing nude in a highly publicized PETA campaign proclaiming, "Fur? I'd rather go naked."
The accusations came about after photos surfaced from March of this year, showing Kardashian attending Hollywood gifting lounge Scandinavian Style Mansion while wearing a striped mink.
"The reason PETA approached me initially is because in my past I did wear fur and they wanted to educate me on the brutal ways in which animals are skinned for their pelts," Khloe explains.
"After watching [a PETA video] I was so horrified that I immediately swore off fur...I am deeply hurt that people are trying to criticize me for uneducated choices I made in my past that I now regret terribly," she said.
Khloe's ad is currently featured on a West Hollywood billboard, where she's pictured sporting a big blowout and not much else.
"I have changed my ways and I hope that many other people will as well," Kardashian added.
