Clay Aiken Gets His Face Done

Clay Aiken Gets His Face Done-photo

What's better than a stunning portrait of American Idol heartthrob Clay Aiken hanging on the wall?

Why, the real Clay Aiken, standing right before your eyes, of course!

Sardi's, the world-famous restaurant near Broadway in Manhattan, just added a caricature of Clay, 30, to its walls. The eatery has hundreds of such portraits hanging inside.

The out-of-the-closet and newly-coupled Aiken was honored by Sardi's for his Broadway debut in the musical Spamalot, which the red-headed star will end his run in on January 4.

The man himself was personally on hand for the unveiling of his drawn likeness.

Meanwhile, Aiken recently looked back on 2008 in an interview with People magazine.

"At the end of the day, [my son] Parker is the most important thing of the year, and of my life, without question," the singer reveals. "Having a son and that type of responsibility is obviously going to be something that I remember forever."

Clay's best friend Jaymes Foster gave birth to their child Parker Foster Aiken on August 8.

To Fed Up: I am sorry you don't understand the relationship with Clay and his true fans. We do know him a lot more personally than most fans know their idols. There is a lot we don't know, but the thing we know for sure, Clay is a good father. He is a thoroughly good person. Trust us.

How the hell do you know that he is a wonderful father. The only thing you know is that he is a father, anything beyond that is supposition on your part pmueller. I am so sick of his fans who think they know everything about him, history should show you that he has certainly kept key parts of himself hidden from his fans for years. At some point you all will realize that you DON'T know anything about him....

I totally agree with your comment - I for one an tired of the "gay dad" title on eveything. Clay is a very talented, generous, caring and intelligent man. He is a man of a great character and of great courage. Can't he be described for what he really is - a wonderful singer, performer and humanitarian and a wonderful father!

[quote=Larry Hankey]I respect Clay as a gay person. I very much enjoy his fantastic voice and think he is a person of integrity; but is it necessary to preface his name with " gay dad", continually? We already know that. Why run it in the ground?

Congrats to Clay Aiken. Playing the role of Sir Robin in Spamalot showed off both your great voice and fabulous acting. You are so deserving of this honor.
