No Nicole for 'Gossip Girl'
Sorry, Gossip Girl fans. It looks like no knee-high socks, affairs with a friend's parents or Rufus Humphrey gigs for Nicole Richie.
New York Magazine's Intel blog reported Wednesday that Richie, 27, was in talks to appear on the Season 2 finale of the CW's cultural phenomenon.
"It's not true," Richie rep Nicole Perna tells Celebuzz.
While not all of Harlow's mom's future projects have been revealed, the world does know that Richie has been busy. Between promoting her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960, talking with with TV honchos about a small-screen adaptation of her novel, The Truth About Diamonds, and managing the Richie Madden Children's Foundation, she did squeeze in time to appear on NBC's Chuck in late '08.
Gossip Girl just didn't make the cut.
For now, the kids of the Upper East Side (the heavily touted mugs of Blake Lively, Leighton Messter, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and tennis fan Penn Badgley) will have to make do without Nicole.
But they'll have their hands full anyway, grappling with the return of one Georgina Sparks.
