Chloe Sevigny Is a Paid Partyer

Big Love’s Chloe Sevigny picked up big bucks to celebrate New Year’s Eve, the New York Post reports.

The 34-year-old Kids actress was among the many celebs to host New Year’s Eve soirees this year.  Chloe held court at the Gansevoort Hotel’s celebration in Miami’s South Beach.

For this task, Sevigny picked up $50,000.

Wow, for that kind of dough she should be able to buy a wardrobe that isn’t apt to confuse the public at large who might mistake her for a waitress at the House of Pies cocktail room.

For 2009, Chloe is signed on as the female lead in Mr. Nice, a fictional retelling of the rise and fall of British gentleman drug smuggler Howard Marks.  Chloe will star alongside noted UK thespians David Thewlis and Rhys Ifans.

Rhys is known to have a thing for willowy blondes, although he tends to take losing them a little harshly. Chloe will be well-advised to tread carefully in the workplace; still, it’s a paycheck!

But to hear Sevigny tell it, it’s never about the money for her. “I don’t know how much things cost,” the actress tells this month’s issue of Esquire. “Like a BMW. Or a quart of milk. It’s embarrassing.”

Well, it sounds like Sevigny—or her manager—understands the cost of partying, anyway.

Which is no easy feat, since the cost of partying can vary wildly.
