Ben and Violet Affleck Get a Police Escort
Ben Affleck apparently isn't taking any chances after his run-in with the paparazzi on Wednesday.
The Gigli star—who enlisted the aid of construction workers in shooing away a pap swarm earlier this week—picked up his three-year-old daughter, Violet, from her Santa Monica, California, school accompanied by a police escort on Thursday.
Assistance from the boys in blue is something that he and his wife, Jennifer Garner, haven't resorted to in the past.
It's hard to blame Garner and Affleck, both 36, for taking extra precautions. The couple has a newborn daughter, Seraphina, to worry about, and Garner has drawn unwanted attention from stalkers as well as tabloid shutterbugs lately.
But maybe, rather than draining taxpayer resources, the couple should beef up their private security detail with an expert on dealing with paps.
If your concerned about the drain on taxpayers money then look no further than yourself for being the cause. Protection from stalker pap's shouldn't have to fit into anyone's budget, including stars. Can't you find a way to stop the harassing especially of their children?
