Morning Buzz: Britney Teams With Virgin Mobile for Tour
Britney Spears has announced on her official website that Virgin Mobile will be sponsoring her upcoming tour - The Circus starring Britney Spears. Spears' tour kicks off on April 3 in New Orleans, and will play 31 shows in the United States. "I'm thrilled to partner with Virgin Mobile on my tour," said Britney Spears. "They will have cool opportunities for my fans and me to connect, and they'll bring a lot of excitement to the tour." The Pussycat Dolls will be the opening act.
Patrick Swayze has given up treatment for pancreatic cancer, according to The Daily Mail. "There's nothing more doctors can do for him. We are down to the wire and the goal now is to keep Patrick comfortable. His condition is inoperable and they have stopped the chemo. He's still losing weight and he's very weak," a source says. Another source added that "Patrick regards himself as a cowboy, and is determined to die with his boots on and no regrets."
Kelly Osbourne re-entered rehab due to her hard partying lifestyle in London, according to sources. People reports that the Osbourne daughter, who entered rehab for an addiction to painkillers in 2004 and 2005, has "always struggled with addiction" according to a source. "It's a very party atmosphere there," the source says. "[Kelly] just tends to get back into that rut when she's there since her friends are there, and she's just more comfortable there. The old party habits come back."
George Clooney's most recent female companion (he was sighted having sushi with her last weekend) has appeared on four game shows in the past decade, according to TMZ. The woman used alternate names on each show including Katie, Kate and Stephanie Moeser. She is said to have appeared on Hollywood Squares in late 2003/early 2004, The Price is Right in 2006, Trivial Pursuit in 2008 and Don't Forget the Lyrics in 2007.
First Lady Michelle Obama is set to become a wax statue at Madame Tussaud's in Washington, DC. E! reports that the likeness of President Barack Obama's wife is set to be unveiled in March.
