Kanye West to Publish Coffee Table Book
If you can’t get enough of Kanye West’s prolific blog, he’ll be coming to a coffee table near you.
Fashion Week Daily first reported, and boutique publishing house Rizzoli’s catalogue confirms, that Kayne is poised to release Kanye West: Glow in the Dark, a book slated for release in October of this year.
A multimedia glossy that will retail for $50, the tome will include a USB device packed with previously unreleased music, clock in at 9-7/8 x 13 inches and feature exclusive content from the outspoken rapper and fashion fan.
Expect the package to boast “[Kanye’s] original sketches and concepts; 3-D models and construction of the stage concept art for ‘J.A.N.E.’; costume designs (including his Grace Jones-inspired outfits for opening act Rihanna); and blog of his journey,” Rizzoli’s release says.
Candid published photos shot by Nabil Elderkin will also be included and are said to cover shopping sprees in China, A-list parties in the U.S. and backstage shots from the European leg of his last musical jaunt. Also, Michelle Willaims’ boyfriend and Kanye inspiration Spike Jonze is interviewed for the project.
