Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift to Duet at Grammys
Officials have confirmed that Taylor Swift, 19, will pair up with 16-year-old Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus at the 51st annual Grammy Awards this Sunday.
But while the awards show brass wouldn’t comment on what song the two teen performers are set to belt out together, Ryan Seacrest rang up both of them this morning during his KIIS-FM Los Angeles morning show and got them to spill the beans.
“I wanted to play one of my songs, ‘Fifteen,'” Taylor explained. “We all kind of came to the consensus that, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool if Miley was up there, too, and we were singing together?’ She said yes, and we’re real excited about it.”
Miley then added, “If you listen to the song, I think the lyrics are very inspiring. A of girls are inspired by us. So I think this song is kind of very much like giving our advice and showing how powerful you can be if you have a good friend.”
