Ashley Judd Throws Sarah Palin to the Wolves
Failed Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, 44, has one very vocal opponent when it comes to her much-talked-about aerial hunting of Alaska wolves.
Palin has made no secret that she supports hunting wolves from the sky in the name of predator control, and now Kiss the Girls actress Ashley Judd is making her disgust public, narrating a video for the Washington-based Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund.
“It is time to stop Sarah Palin,” she says in the video, which denounces Palin’s expanded program for the aerial hunting of wolves.
In the video, Judd claims that Palin offers a $150 bounty for the left foreleg of each dead wolf that’s collected. If true, that’s not very hockey-mom of her.
Check out the video below:
Palin says that Judd’s video was created to “deceive Americans into parting with their hard-earned money.”
“The ad campaign by this extreme fringe group, as Alaskans have witnessed over the last several years, distorts the facts about Alaska’s wildlife management programs,” Palin said in a statement. “Alaskans depend on wildlife for food and cultural practices which can’t be sustained when predators are allowed to decimate moose and caribou populations. Our predator control programs are scientific and successful at protecting vulnerable wildlife.”
Whatever Palin’s reasoning, hopefully this will result in another stellar Tina Fey impression. You betcha!
