Carrie Underwood Isn’t Big on the Valentine’s Day Thing
Don’t expect to see Carrie Underwood out celebrating Valentine’s Day this year.
The 25-year-old former American Idol contestant just isn’t the box-of-chocolates and romantic-dinner type, reports People magazine.
“I’m anti-Valentine’s Day,” the “Jesus Take the Wheel” chanteuse admits. “I don’t believe—and this goes for anybody—your man shouldn’t love you for one day out of 365. He should love you 365 days out of the year. I want Valentine’s Day every day.”
And though the singer—who famously dated current Jessica Simpson beau Tony Romo—is rumored to be seeing hockey player Mike Fisher—Underwood says she’ll be spending the most romantic day of the year with another male in her life. Namely, Ace, her rat terrier.
“He’s here with me,” Underwood reveals. “We’ll be on a plane together Saturday.”
Don’t feel bad, Carrie; apparently, you won’t be the only show-biz femme to spend V-Day with platonic companions this year.
