Chris Brown Is Managing His Anger
Chris Brown has begun taking anger management classes in the wake of his alleged beating of girlfriend Rihanna earlier this month.
The New York Daily News reports that Brown went to his first class on Monday in Glendale, California.
A source says that Brown, who goes on trial for felony threat charges on March 5, took the classes without an order from the court.
"Chris doesn't actually have to go by law," the source says, "but he believes it will make him look better to the public, and he wants to try to get in a few classes before March 5."
Brown has lost an endorsement deal with Wrigley's gum since the February 8 incident, in which he allegedly beat and choked Rihanna.
The source says that recent birthday girl Rihanna might want to take anger management classes herself.
"Rihanna is temperamental, too," says the source. "They're both too hot-headed for their own good."
Another source goes so far as to say that Rihanna was trying to provoke Brown that evening.
"It didn't help that Rihanna grabbed the keys out of his rented Lamborghini and threw them down the street. She knew it would really infuriate Chris, and it worked."
The source adds that Brown isn't expected to serve actual jail time, despite the horrific pic supposedly depicting Rihanna's cuts, bruises, and welts that surfaced last week.
