Chris Brown's Day In Court Postponed
Chris Brown is off the hook—for another four weeks.
The "Run It" singer appeared in a Los Angeles court this afternoon to be arraigned on two felony charges stemming from his alleged beating of girlfriend Rihanna last month.
Brown, dressed in an olive-colored three-piece-suit, showed with his attorney Mark Geragos to the downtown LA courthouse, where spoke minimally to the Judge.
Geragos requested and was a granted a continuance, set for April 6, where Brown will face two counts of felony battery and making criminal threats.
Attorney Donald Etra appeared on Rihanna's behalf. When asked by the Judge if Rihanna requested an official order to stop contact between she and Brown, Etra indicated his client "does not want such an order."
Furthermore, the judge told Brown that during the month-long respite he is not to "annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone."
