VIDEO: Diddy Has 'No Judgment' for Rihanna and Chris Brown
Diddy opened his Star Island estate in Miami, Florida to Chris Brown and Rihanna after the controversial Feb. 8 incident in which Brown is alleged to have beaten his girlfriend.
Now he has explained why to Ellen DeGeneres. Check the video below.
Diddy made an appearance on DeGeneres' show yesterday, and Ellen asked to "clear something up" in regards to Diddy's allowing them to stay at his home.
"It's my house, and I'm allowed to give my house to whoever I want to give my house to," he said. "I don't cast a stone—cast judgment on anybody. So, if friends ask me for a favor, then I'm going to be there for a favor as long as I know the energy of the favor is positive."
According to E!, Diddy also noted that he's not involved in the situation but "I'm not going to pass judgment on it. I'm going to be there as a friend."
Ellen noted that she wouldn't want any girl to think it's OK to go back to a man who has abused her.
"I don't think it's right for anybody to hit anybody," Diddy countered. "We know sometimes relationships get ugly...We don't know exactly what's going on. There are two young individuals involved. We need to pray for them, and we need to do things to support them."
Diddy has not been scheduled for an appearance on tomorrow's Oprah show, in which O will discuss domestic abuse and has dedicated the show to the "Rihannas of the world."
