Sacha Baron Cohen Sticks It to the US Military

Sacha Baron Cohen, while filming his upcoming Bruno movie, was able to pull one over on the Alabama National Guard.

The Age reports that Cohen was able to make it into the Alabama Military Academy under the guise of filming a German TV documentary on February 13.

Cohen was playing his gay fashion reporter character Bruno, who will star in Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt.

Which is probably the best movie title ever.

The soldiers, who provided Sacha with a uniform and some training on post despite noting that he had thong underwear on when he changed, realized they had been had when a soldier recognized him from his Borat movie and snitched.

“It’s an embarrassment to the Alabama National Guard,” Staff Sergeant Katrina Timmons said. “Since then we have put in protocols to make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

Bruno also managed to disrupt a Prada show last September.
