'American Idol': And Then There Were Ten

Alexis Grace's rendition of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" was unable to save her from being eliminated on a country music-themed American Idol last night.

The pink-streaked Grace, 21 and hailing from Memphis, was ousted last night after being denied the new "save" option that the judges have been given.

Alexis was the lowest vote-getter and the "save" being given to her hinged on her performance.

"It was good, but it wasn't good enough," Simon Cowell noted.

With Grace's exit, the line-up for this summer's Idols Live tour is assured. The remaining top ten finalists make up the roster.

Also in the bottom three last night were oil rig roughneck/teddy bear Matt Sarver and the flame-haired Allison Iraheta, 16. Hopefully they are able to pull themselves up by their bootstraps in the next go-round.
