Holly Madison Names Melissa Rycroft as Her 'DWTS' Arch-Nemesis
Holly Madison has sized up her Dancing With the Stars competition, and she has identified her biggest threat as heartbroken Bachelor gal Melissa Rycroft, according to Us Magazine.
"I think the biggest competition is Melissa from The Bachelor," the former Girls Next Door girl said at Prive in Las Vegas on Saturday. "She is an amazing dancer and everybody loves her, including me."
Holly and Melissa bonded over the fact that they were the "surprise" replacements for the injured Nancy O'Dell and Jewel, and hid together on their first day in a dressing room.
"We were supposed to be secret, surprise guests," Madison offers. "I got to know her a little bit. She is super sweet and an amazing dancer."
Madison cites Rycroft's ballet background as one of the biggest factors that gives the spurned Bachelorette contestant a leg up.
"I wish I had that advantage," Madison admits.
But there's one thing Madison isn't worried about: Falling prey to the Dancing With the Stars curse that has already claimed Jewel, O'Dell, and Steve Wozniak.
"I'm thinking really positive," Madison chirps. "We've been doing some crazy flips and tricks this week. My side is, like, killing me. I'm going to be a trouper, and I'm going to get through it."
Madison says she's determined to stay in the competition for as long as possible, mainly because "I'm having so much fun with it."
Whew. Good to know that Madison is approaching the competition in a free-wheeling manner, and isn't tempted to go all Tonya Harding on Rycroft.
