Could There Be a Movie About the Deceased Reality Star Jade Goody?
A book based on Jade Goody’s autobiography Catch A Falling Star is in the works, according to the Telegraph.
Goody passed away on Sunday after a battle with cervical cancer, leaving a husband and two young sons behind.
The newspaper reports that Goody’s trustees are “talking about” a film telling Goody’s life story.
“Her story lends itself to a biographical film. She’s captured the mood of the nation. We’re talking about it, and we welcome approaches,” trustee Danny Hayward says.
“We want it to tap into raising awareness of cervical cancer,” he noted.
Catch A Falling Star was Jade’s autobiography, and a revised edition is being published under the title of Jade: Fighting to the End.
Jade’s cancer diary, Forever In My Heart, will be published by HarperCollins in late April, as well as Jade: Remember Me This Way: Favourite Photos From Eight Years in the Limelight.
Goody, a star on the UK and India’s versions of Big Brother, became a media sensation in Britain after she sold interviews and photos about her struggle with cancer and her quick marriage to Jack Tweed to finance her sons’ futures after her death.
