VIDEO: O.J. and Nicole Brown Simpson Wish Kardashian Mom a Happy Birthday
Reality-TV sensation Kim Kardashian dredges up a blast from the past on her official Web site today, in the form of a video that her mother, Kris Jenner, put together for her own 30th birthday back in 1985.
In the video, Jenner sings a little ditty called “I Love My Friends,” set to the tune of Randy Newman‘s “I Love L.A.”
Along with Jenner’s crack vocal skills, the video features numerous pals and acquaintances of hers declaring, “She loves you!” Chief among the video’s guest stars: O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson.
You may recall that Jenner’s late ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, served on the legal “Dream Team” that represented O.J. during his mid-90s murder trial.
You know, the trial where Simpson was accused of murdering ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman. (Simpson was acquitted, but was found guilty in a later civil trial.)
It should be noted that Jenner was infuriated at Kardashian, whom she’d divorced by then, for representing Simpson, and carried that anger well past Kardashian’s 2003 death. (Jenner resolved that anger in a recent, very poignant episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.)
One thing’s for sure; sometimes a trip down memory lane can lead to some pretty creepy places. Check out a preview of the video below, and visit KimKardashian.com for the full version.
