Madonna and David: Make Music Not War
Madonna sure is looking fierce in these pictures with the black combat boots and the camouflage pants.
But like the t-shirt says, she’s only about “Malawi Love.” Even little David Banda is all about guitars and not about guns.
Madonna visited her Raising Malawi Kabbalah school in Malawi, Africa on Monday afternoon. The pop mogul established the school as part of her Raising Malawi initiative.
The school is located in the Namitete District of Lilongwe, which is Malawi’s capital.
Madonna was accompanied by her daughter Lourdes Leon and her four-year-old son David, the child she adopted from Malawi in October of 2006.
Earlier in the day, Madge was told that her application to adopt another child, three-year Mercy James, has been delayed.
Mercy’s mother reportedly died at the age of 18.
The ruling came after an hour-long closed-door hearing in Malawi’s Lilongwe High Court.
Judge Esme Chombo heard her application to adopt a second child from the African country, and decided to rule on the application this coming Friday.
Mercy’s grandmother has expressed her disapproval of Madonna adopting her granddaughter.
Grandma and the Malawi courts better watch out on Friday, Madge looks dressed for battle.
