Khloe Kardashian is not taking her ouster from this season of Celebrity Apprentice lightly.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star—who was kicked off the show on Sunday night’s episode by Donald Trump because of circumstances relating to her DUI conviction—is lashing out at The Donald on her official Web site.

“[My firing] wasn’t because of my work ethic, it wasn’t because I was slacking—it was because of my DUI, one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made that I will forever regret,” Kardashian writes. “I will NEVER say that what I did was right, but I think it is completely unrelated to my place on the show and I don’t think I should have been fired for that reason alone. I have tried to bring awareness to how serious DUIs are and I am trying to make some right out of my huge mistake.”

Kardashian was arrested for DUI in 2007, and in July 2008 served 173 minutes for violating the conditions of her parole. On Sunday night’s Celebrity Apprentice, Trump blasted Kardashian for missing a task because she had to attend a DUI class in Los Angeles. But he also went on to tongue-lash her for the incident itself.

“I hate people who drive under the influence; I really do,” Trump told her. “When you told me [that Kardashian had received a DUI], I lost a little respect for you…If I had known that you were missing time away from the task because of a DUI, you would have never been on the show.”

Khloe stops just short of accusing The Donald of hypocrisy. “I find it weird that he can forgive and take back Tara Conner but he can’t do the same with me?!” Khloe notes. “The things people do for ratings!” (After news broke that Miss USA 2006 winner Conner had engaged in underaged drinking and cocaine use, Trump chose to let her retain her crown.)

As for the remainder of Celebrity Apprentice’s season, Khloe makes no bones about the fact that she’s staying loyal to her former Athena teammates.

“In all honesty, I’m rooting for Natalie Gulbis and Joan Rivers to go all the way,” Kardashian admits. “I guess we’ll all have to wait and see who makes it.”

In the end, Khloe remains philosophical about her Celebrity Apprentice heave-ho.

“Filming Celebrity Apprentice gave me a whole new outlook on Keeping Up,” she offers. “I adore working with my family and this just made it all that much clearer to me.”
