‘Dancing With the Stars’ Officially Grier-Less
Funnyman David Alan Grier didn’t have much to laugh about after last night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars.
The 53-year-old comedian was cut from the competition following his Tennessee Waltz with pro partner, Kym Johnson, despite the fact that they had improved their score by two points and beat out Lawrence Taylor in the last-chance dance-off.
Nonetheless, Grier put on a brave face after being cut, choosing to accentuate the positive aspects of his DWTS experience.
“There’s so much support and camaraderie backstage that it’s been awesome,” Grier noted, according to the Associated Press. “My biggest goal was to try and make Kym proud.”
Faring better than Grier was Jackass daredevil Steve-O, who was spared the dance-off despite earning a measly 18 points for his Viennese Waltz with Lacey Schwimmer on Monday’s episode.
