Nicole Richie Does the Great White North
Taking a break from her ongoing humanitarian efforts, expectant mom Nicole Richie engaged in a whirlwind trip through Canada this week to greet fans and make future plans for her growing clothing empire.
Richie began her Canadian sojourn at Toronto department store Holt Renfrew, where she did a signing in support of her clothing line, House of Harlow.
“I love doing signings because it’s really the only chance I have to come to face to face and thank everybody who has been supporting my line,” Richie notes on her official Web site. “What’s also really great about that is that I have the chance to get feedback about the line —what people’s favorite pieces are and I get to see firsthand what people are gravitating to the most.”
Next stop: Montreal, where she visited the plant of Majestic Mills, which will be manufacturing her upcoming clothing, maternity and shoes line. (Watch out world, she’s taking over!)
But before touring the Majestic Mills plant, the former Simple Life star got a lesson in aviation.
“They picked me up on their plane and when I got on the pilot let me sit up front with him and play co-pilot,” Richie recalls. “It was the most freeing, liberating, scary feeling I’ve ever had in my life. I had the best time…though I’m not sure about everybody else on the plane.”
With her entrepreneurial spirit and newfound experience, can Nicole Richie Airlines be far behind?
