Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Are Expecting Twins
Holy surprise babies!
A rep for Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick has announced that they're expecting twin girls through a surrogate pregnancy, the Associated Press reports.
The couple, who already have a six-year-old son, James Wilkie, are expecting the new arrivals this summer.
According to their rep, both Parker and Broderick are "overjoyed" at the impending double bundles of joy.
Meanwhile, SJP has another big arrival to prepare for—the highly anticipated sequel to the Sex and the City movie, which is due to hit screens a little more than a year from now.
Good thing Parker and Broderick are going the surrogate route—otherwise the writers might have a lot of revising to do.
I think SJP & Matthew are one of the most "real" celeb couples out there. I think they are fine...otherwise they wouldn't be having more babies. SJP has been the most honest about motherhood after her son, so I know she wouldn't be having more just to have them. Why are people so negative all the time?!?
This smells like a last-ditch effort to save their flatlining marriage. Unfortunately, the pressure of raising twins will most likely drive them further apart, so it will most likely backfire on them.
