UPDATE: Despite Reports, Pink Still Not Bisexual
UPDATE: As it turns out, rumors of Pink's bisexuality have been greatly exaggerated.
The singer notes on her Twitter account that the News of the World story is "100 percent fabrication," and hopes for a day when matters of sexual orientation become irrelevant in the media arena.
"cant WAIT for the day when people stop talking about sexual preference or that a woman is a CEO and actually start making the world LIVEABLE," Pink writes.
Though it might not come as the most earth-shattering news ever, "So What" singer Pink has officially admitted to her bisexuality.
Pink's sexuality has been a source of speculation for years, but up to this point the singer—born Alecia Moore—has refused to entertain the rumors, and as recently as October she claimed, "I'm not gay so I guess I would not try a relationship with a woman."
And though she's officially let the cat out of the bag, Pink insists that she's not hopping on any bandwagons with the announcement.
"I think it's unnecessary to draw the subject out, but I think it even more stupid not to discuss it," Pink asserts. "It seems as if bisexuality is a trend and I should whip up the masses. Well, I don't believe in trends, I just believe in me."
