Miss California: What's My Age Again?

Miss California: What's My Age Again?-photo

It sounds like Miss California Carrie Prejean's pants are on fire—and not because she's so hot or anything.

TMZ reports that Prejean—who's stirred no small amount of public debate with her opinions on gay marriage—was less than truthful about the topless photos of her that were leaked onto the Internet last week.

When the pics made headlines, Prejean's publicist, Melany Ethridge, told the press that the beauty-queen to be was just 17 at the time of the photo-session, and was duped into posing by an opportunistic agent.

"In her naivete, an agent convinced her to pose for this photo to submit to a lingerie company, claiming they could make her the next Victoria's Secret model," Ethridge claimed at the time. "She has since learned what a lie that was, and what a mistake it was to have the photo taken."

But apparently, that was somewhere outside the realm of veracity.

TMZ notes that they obtained an e-mail from one of her former pageant sponsors, indicating that Prejean had sent him one of the topless pics on January 6, 2009—the same day that she got a boob job. The sponsor indicates that the photo was taken post-breast surgery.

Meaning that Prejean, who's currently 21, was well past 18, let alone 17, when the pics were taken.

She must think the rest of the world is as  naive as she claims she was.

Readers, have your say in the comments section: Do you think Carrie Prejean should be dethroned because of her topless photos and lack of truthfulness?

The official he got pic the day of the boob job. So that would mean she had to have taken before that. I seriously doubt someone would take the pic the day of the surgery

Has anyone noticed that she has that same dead-behind-the-eyes look as Jessica Simpson? Nothing to do with this story really...just an observation on the wattage of the bulb that's powering their brains.

Has Playboy made her an offer yet?

I'm to the left of her views on marriage, but okay, she expressed her opinion, freedom of speech. Showed her side boob in at least one picture. Not so great, but okay, except unfair to others in contest who may not have done so--so let the pageant rules decide her fate. She becomes a spokesperson for the National Organization for Marriage (NOM). Here it's getting sticky, stickier when she allegedly records a fund-raising message for NOM--so let the pageant decide her fate by their rules. (Hypocrisy alarm going off). Then she gets caught in lie about her being age 17 when pictures were taken, and now it's coming out that she was much older, and that pics may be fairly recent. (Insert loud buzzer noise here) Not just a hypocrite but also a liar. She does not deserve the crown.
