Michael Lohan: Heading Back to the Slammer?
TMZ reports that the elder Lohan—who was sentenced to 1 1/3 to 4 years in prison in 2005 for a variety of offenses, including drunk driving and attempted assault—is in legal hot water again.
Lohan pleaded not guilty to second degree aggravated harassment on Tuesday for allegedly threatening to kill himself and his fiancée, Erin Muller, when she tried to break up with him.
Police arrested Lohan in Long Island on April 6 after he allegedly threatened to kill Muller over the phone on March 18.
If convicted, Lohan—who's due back in court next month—faces up to a year in jail.
It could be worse; Lohan's parole terms stemming from his 2004 assault arrest expired in February. Had the alleged threat occurred before then, his legal woes might have been compounded.
Readers, have your say in the comments section: Does Michael Lohan really seem like the kind of person who's capable of threatening to kill a woman just because she breaks up with him?
