DJ AM Plans to Write Memoir

Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein is going from spinning tunes to spinning a yarn about his life.

The celebrated DJ told E! Online at Activision’s DJ Hero launch in Los Angeles that he plans to pen his memoir, though it might be a while.

“I will definitely be writing a book,” Goldstein vowed. “I’ll work on it when I see the ending in sight. That may be a long time from now, but it will happen.”

He’ll have plenty to write about. In addition to bouts with substance abuse, his gastric bypass surgery, and flings with a stable of Hollywood beauties, there’s also the fatal plane crash that he survived, along with collaborator and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, in South Carolina last September.

Maybe he should consider making it a two-volume set…
