New Demi Lovato Album Cover!
Rejoice, it’s finally here!
What’s more, Lovato talks about the new musical direction she’s taking in Billboard magazine.
“I think Don’t Forget was a lot more Jonas sounding,” Lovato says of her 2008 debut album, which was largely co-written with the Jonas Brothers. “It had a little more of their feel on it. But this album is just me.”
Though Demi co-wrote “Can’t Stop the World” from Here We Go Again with Nick Jonas, she also collaborated with John Mayer on two songs, “World of Chances” and “Shut Up and Love Me,” and teamed up with The Academy Is… frontman William Beckett on “For the Love of a Daughter,” about Demi’s relationship with her father after her parents’ 1994 divorce.
Sounds like she’s digging deep!
“I felt a little more confident this time, but I also felt like it was a little more pressure,” Lovato reveals. “I feel like, for me, this is definitely a step forward. I was really, really nervous making the album, but I feel like it’s come together. I’m really, really, really excited about it.”
Here We Go Again will be released on July 21.
