VIDEO: Bret Michaels Attacked by Stage Set at Tonys

Every rose has its thorn, but every stage set has its element of potential disaster.

Rock of Love star and budding author Bret Michaels performed with his band Poison and the cast of Broadway’s Rock of Ages at the Tony Awards on Sunday night, and he really brought the house down. Right on his head.

As Michaels finished up his warbling the Poison hit “Nothin’ But a Good Time,” he missed his mark and ran into a piece of scenery that was descending for the next number, knocking him to the ground.

While Michaels’ publicist tells People magazine that the singer was “getting X-rays,” it’s believed that he’ll be fine.

See? That cowboy hat is good for something.
