Heidi Montag: "Al Roker Attacked Me!"
For someone who's done her own fair share of sniping, Heidi Montag certainly seems to have a pretty thin skin.
Hills villain Montag and her hubby Spencer Pratt appeared on Today on Monday morning to talk about their aborted stint on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
Unfortunately, Montag was forced to endure the slings and arrows of their cruel interviewer, Al Roker.
Throughout the interview, Roker called the couple's sincerity and character into question, asking whether Spencer's baptism by I'm a Celebrity co-star Stephen Baldwin was "a ploy" and noting, "There are those who say that you two are everything that's wrong with celebrity these days."
When Pratt conceded that he willfully chose the villain role on I'm a Celebrity, Roker replied, "You say 'villain,' other people say 'jerk.'"
And then Roker turned his venomous tongue on Montag, asking, "Heidi, are you proud of all this? Of the way you guys behaved on the program?" Check out the video below:
Apparently, this grueling exercise in journalistic inquiry was all too much for Montag, who groused on Ryan Seacrest's radio show about the ordeal.
"I was shocked at how rude he was—I was crying afterwards because I couldn't believe I felt personally attacked," said Montag. "I wanted to say to him, do you feel proud of how you're talking to me right now? I'm just a young woman and you're coming at me so aggressively and meanly and mean-spirited."
Added Montag, "I really would advise women especially to be careful around him because I feel like he definitely came and attacked me and I did not appreciate that at all."
Wow. Strong words, there.

Al Roker is not what I would call a tough interrogator. He asked them both very, VERY simple questions and they couldn't even answer those. Pathetic. If you're going to be a huge d-bag, at least own your persona!

I wouldn't exactly stand-up for these two, however the fact that Al Rouker is one giant douche-bag is evident.
I'm sure people tell them the same thing Al did ALL THE TIME wayy to 'play it up' fame whores! They're are pathetic!
I love Al but what exactly was the point of this interview? Giving people who have really had enough exposure even more airtime? Surely there is someone better to interview...some topic better to explore. Really. Hasn't everyone had enough of these two?
This is hilarious. Good on Al Roker for taking these idiots to task. You can't force yourself into the spotlight and then whine about it when you're criticized, dearie. If it's so painful, then get out of the spotlight, we won't miss you.
