Is it true that he had a germ phobia is that why he wore that mask thing every where?? Michael was diagnosed with discoid lupus back in the '80s. This autoimmune disease causes painful skin lesions (among other things - WebMD’s eMedicine describes it as "a chronic, scarring, atrophy producing, photosensitive dermatosis") and the treatments currently available to keep it in check REQUIRE that the patient protect his/her skin and eyes from UV light (sunlight) at all times. MJ was diagnosed with yet another autoimmune disease - vitiligo - which, among other things, causes permanent skin discoloration due to the complete loss of melanin. What that means is that the patient will develop skin blotches 'whiter' than even albino skin - the skin becomes virtually translucent. Moreover, the patient becomes very susceptible to developing a plethora of skin cancers if s/he does not protect her/his skin from UV rays at all time. THESE are the REAL REASONS WHY MJ used makeup, sunglasses, hats, face coverings, umbrellas, long sleeves all the time, etc., etc. It was NOT because he was "weird" and all the other crap that an IGNORANT, JEALOUS, HATEFUL AND PROFITEER MEDIA claimed. Michael Jackson simply tried to follow ESSENTIALLY IMPORTANT, RESPONSIBLE medical advice in order to protect his health as much as he could. The media - and a LOT of folks out there - found it MUCH easier and 'fun' to ridicule MJ for something they were TOO IGNORANT AND TOO ARROGANT to comprehend - or even willing to hear - let alone learn about!! THIS had been killing Michael Jackson for a LONG TIME -- That SORRY EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR - Conrad Murray - who's nothing more than another IGNORANT, JEALOUS, HATEFUL AND PROFITEER LOSER - just finished the 'job'!

I was looking at the pictures and being in the medical field for a while before moving into the field of pyscology, I notice that michael had some serious issues with self mutilation. I am not taking away from his great vocal ability and musical genuis, but I do hate that no one around him took the time to pay attention and see that he was in need of help. The reason his nails are like that is due to malnutrition. If you pay atttention to the pictures prior to his noise surgery and other alterrations you will see healthy white nails, when we don't give our body the nutrients that it needs it shows in our skin, our nails, etc. I really am sad that Michael is gone, but I pray that he is content and found that peace and acceptance that he was looking for so long within himself. I know that I might have some typo's trying to get out of here, but I had to voice my opinion after viewing these pictures.
