UPDATE: Michael Jackson Has Died
UPDATE: TMZ now reports that Michael Jackson has died, at the age of 50.
Jackson was rushed to the hospital this afternoon after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Holmby Hills residence in Los Angeles. Apparently Jackson had no pulse when paramedics arrived, and though they administered CPR in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, they were unable to resuscitate him.
The Los Angeles Times reports that city and law enforcement officials confirmed Jackson’s death to them at 3:15 p.m. The Times‘ sources add that Jackson was rushed to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in a deep coma.
TMZ reports that Michael Jackson has been rushed by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital after suffering cardiac arrest.
A 911 call was made from Jackson’s Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles at 12:21 p.m. Paramedics reportedly administered CPR to Jackson in the ambulance.
